Exploring Vancouver on Translink - Day 3
Monday, I found myself in Deep Cove North Vancouver. This beautiful oceanside village is the perfect location to explore. When you first get off the bus, the cove is right there, so a couple of minute's walk, you'll be right by the beach, and since it was a weekday morning with not many people around, I had the dock to myself. From here, I spent quite a bit of time photographing the beautiful forest scenes from the surrounding islands.
View from the dock.
This seagull was perched on one of the private docks north on the north side of the village. We also have Deep Cove's iconic lifeguard chair.
This beautiful view was shot from a small lookout north of the village.
I took this shot within the forest at Deep Cove Park. I took the second shot from the main dock. I love the way the trees are dusted with snow.
My final stop of the day was Honey Donuts; they are a must-try local favorite if you have a sweet tooth.
