Exploring Vancouver on Translink - Day 2

Yesterday was a bit of a shock. The day started a tad later than planned for no reason other than I didn't feel like rushing through my morning routine. Because of this, I decided to stay pretty local.

I jumped on the number 4 bus on Granville St and headed out to my old rowing haunt down at Jericho beach. I got off the bus early at 4th and Wallace St. As there is this old weeping willow that I always love photographing, well, the tree hasn't faired very well from last week's storm.

I spent the remainder of the day exploring my way back to town.

I ended up spending quite a bit of time at Mc Bride Park, photographing the rawness of nature during these winter days

Love the shapes and details of the branches all intertwined

I took this shot from the staircase that leads you down to a little secluded beach; due to the tide and latest storms, there was no beach, and the water had covered some of the stairs. Cityscape of Vancouver
